Traveling from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on highway 15 could be boring.
Or that’s what many folks think. One thing we know is that there will be cars to spot. Nice cars on the road and nice cars being hauled.
And you won’t see them only on Hwy 15, but rather all across the country. Yet, Las Vegas and Los Angeles are the entertainment capitals of the US and that somehow always guarantees for some good car spotting. Whether that would be a fast and shiny sports car not attending to speed laws or a swanky restored classic, you know you will see something worth a stare. In our case we always look for car haulers and their load, and we take photos.
Classic Cars Spotting on the road from Los Angeles to Las Vegas
Unverified identity classic automobile
Since we don’t claim to be experts at classic cars, we have to acknowledge we don’t know the make and model. We couldn’t see it upfront which would have been helpful. It was obvious the car was well maintained and cared for. Now if you know, please let us know.
Hot Rod Ice Cream!
Now this Ford truck is fun and we would certainly use it for selling ice cream. Actually, probably someone uses it and we should find out who and where!
We were really close here and you can see this one is in great shape on the outside and we infer on the inside as well.
Now here is the behind. Looking even more fun!
Back To The Future DeLorean!
Now this is for desert! It was the biggest surprise of the trip that day and we tried to get closer, but it was difficult so pardon the quality of our shots. This guy was certainly in a hurry to deliver that DeLorean and it was difficult to catch up with him in the traffic.
He was really going to get away!
But we caught up eventually!
And this was the closest we achieved.
In a way all of these cars are a time machine, not just the DeLorean. I think you would agree with me on that. Shipping classic cars is a job many car haulers take pride in because it is history you are delivering. You have to know how to handle classic cars; to respect them and to love them. The love of classic cars is unequal, it is not the same love you have for a new automobile. Classic cars are in a class of their own and classic car owners know that.
